Traveling 60 Kms to the Sambodhi Aashram from Jaipur, Rajasthan is, metaphorically, similar to the journey—of self-transformation—one undertakes.
Initially, we head towards the tonk road to reach Chaksu. In this leg, you have to cross the hustle-bustle and the traffic of the budding metro city, Jaipur. That is similar to dealing with and overcoming the chaos in our being.
Once we hit the NH-12, we are greeted with a 3-lane highway which brings in a sense of relief. This again is like starting to experience the freedom you will experience during your event/stay for your inner growth. We continue on this highway for about 20 km and then we are at the Shivdaspura Toll Plaza and we halt, for the toll. Which reminds one of the reality check one has to undertake during this journey of self-realization.
After the Toll Plaza we travel about 12 km to reach a fork turn in the highway, and take a right turn on the state highway. Exactly what we’ll do in the journey at Aashram to leave the path we have become comfortable with towards a fresh path leading to internal & eternal bliss. The state highway is dotted with open fields on both sides to keep your senses refreshed; as the road, you’ll be undergoing after reaching your destination for self-actualization.
We continue on the state highway for about 12 kms till we reach Chaksu, where we take a right turn at chaksu market; towards phagi. In between you’ll be crossing a few settlements and watching out for the oncoming traffic; as preparing you for the fact that in your chosen journey at the Ashram you need to be prepared for minor roadblock and be watchful and aware of what is coming your way!
Now we are at the final lap of the travel for about 28 km, till you reach Bhankrota Village. There you take a left turn and travel through a settled idyllic village on a country road to arriving at the destination.
You are at the Sambodhi Aashram that is a sacred space for self-transformation, where you dedicate time towards your inner growth. The center offers various programs in field of Spirituality, Psychology & Humanity drawing people from all over the world.
The ashram is settled in midst of cultivated fields, all-around and there is no building in sight that can distract you. You are in nature in its rawest form.
